Dies Basis liegt nahe dem Tamarind Beach Hotel und ist nur 15 Minuten per Taxi vom Flughafen entfernt. Canouan ist von Europa über Barbados, Martinique oder San Juan zu erreichen.


Canouan_ ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ihren Törn im Herzen der Grenadinen. Sie segeln wahlweise in nördlicher Richtung nach St. Vincent oder südlich nach Grenada.

Tag 1: Charlestown Bay - Salt Whistle Bay - Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour sail to Mayreau and anchor in picturesque Salt Whistle Bay. Swim or dinghy to the beach where you¹ll discover a hidden bar and restaurant. Take a short hike up the hill for a panoramic view of the Grenadines.

Tag 2: Salt Whistle Bay - Tobago Cays - Less than an hour of sailing and you re in the Tobago Cays, five deserted islands protected by a horseshoe reef famous for snorkeling and diving. In the evening, the absence of man-made light reveals more stars than you can imagine.

Tag 3: Tobago Cays - Petit St. Vincent - A beautiful 1 1/2 hour sail to Clifton Harbour on Union Island, a bustling port with bars, restaurants, fruit and vegetable traders and more. Stop for lunch and then sail to the privately owned island of Petit St. Vincent, a beautiful anchorage and home to the best Piña Coladas in the Caribbean!

Tag 4: Petit St. Vincent - Chatham Bay - Set out for Chatham Bay. A great stop along the way is Mopion, a small island with snorkeling in a beautiful waist-deep lagoon. Then it s on to Chatham Bay, with nothing but sea, sky and a golden beach all around.

Tag 5: Chatham Bay - Admiralty Bay - Put your yacht through her paces while looking out for dolphin, flying fish and the occasional whale on your way to Admiralty Bay. Pick up a mooring or anchor of the quieter waters of Princess Margaret Beach. Go ashore to get a great taste of Bequia s charming island attitude.

Tag 6: Admiralty Bay - Young Island Cut - An exhilarating 1 1/2 to 2 hour sail to magnificent St. Vincent. This island has some of the most dramatic scenery in the Grenadines. Visit thriving Kingston and its Botanical Gardens. Head inland to the Mesopotamia Valley with its Montreal Gardens.

Tag 7: Young Island Cut - Britannia Bay - Leaving Bequia to starboard in 2-3 hours you ll reach Mustique, developed as a holiday home for the wealthy. Take a horseback ride or rent a four-wheeled mule to get the best views of this tropical jewel including world-famous Macaroni Beach.

Letzter Tag: Britannia Bay - Charlestown Bay - Enjoy a glorious 2-3 hour downwind sail. Plenty of time to reflect on just how much fun you ve had and to plan your next Moorings adventure!
