Malta is a mediterranean dream. It offers unique opportunities for sailors, that archipelago in the Mediterranean. There's plenty to explore: It consists of three inhabited islands (Malta, Gozo and Comino) and three uninhabited islands. Lonely bays with crystal clear water, reminding one of the Caribbean, will invite you to bathe. The remote bays are prefect for anchoring - even overnight. Water sport fanatics get their full money's worth. The water around Malta is considered one of the cleanest in the whole Mediterranean, skin divers and divers should not miss the chance to experience the unique under water world. The water temperatures are very agreeable. Around 25 degrees in summer, and even in November the sea offers invitingly warm 19 degrees. Malta is by all rights considered a whole-year-estuary.
Over the whole year an agreeable mediterranean climate is predominant on Malta. Even in winter temperatures do not sink below 15 degrees, and in summer the thermometer barely touches the 30 mark.
