What is it like in Barcelona, Spain?
Port Vell and Port Olympic are pure sports ports. Port Vell is situated at the very end of
the huge port of Barcelona; thus it is quiet and far away from commercial shipping traffic.
The marina is guarded 24 h, all footbridges are secured with gates that will open only to the
proper electronic security card.
Shopping facilities in Barcelona, Spain
Unfortunately the three marinas offer no shopping facilities for food. But due to the
central location it is no problem to shop directly in the city. Wahsing machines and other
modern equipment is available in Port Vell.
Rest and Recreation in Barcelona, Spain
Port Vell is an ideal starting point for for an exploration tour through Barcelona. A 10
minutes walk is all that separates you from the heart of the city . You can enjoy the city
atmosphere from here, roam the "Ramblas" or indulge in culture (Gaudí, Cathedral, museums).
